The quality of 35mm film cannot be replicated.

I started my photography journey as a child in the 90's on 35mm film... because it was all that existed. I have vivid memories of buying $1 rolls of film at the 99 cent store and having prints developed at Walmart.

It's now a joy in 2025 to be using film again, and to feel the magical anticipation of waiting for film scans to be delivered to me. I use variety of film cameras and craft my film photography images similarly to how I work in a digital format. Even with the best editing, digital photos cannot bear the exact same quality as film can, and I think that's incredibly beautiful.
